About this game
Core Puzzle Loop
Each session places players in a repeating scenario where the group must identify one person working against everyone else. A vote occurs after each round, and if the wrong person is selected, events restart from the beginning. This structure encourages paying close attention to dialogue and character movements across multiple attempts. The same environment appears each time, but subtle changes in behavior or new remarks can shift the investigation.
Character Dynamics and Clues
Ten individuals occupy the school, each with distinct personalities and possible reasons for acting suspiciously. One character, CC, remembers details from prior cycles and can share observations that might not be obvious to others. Players can examine rooms, read scattered notes, and listen to private conversations to gather evidence. The social interactions feel natural, with characters reacting differently based on previous votes and discussions.
Strategic Decision Making
Rushing to a conclusion often leads to another reset. The game rewards methodical thinking and group collaboration. Players must weigh statements against actions, track who says what across cycles, and decide when to share or withhold information. Voting is not just about guessing but about building a case based on accumulated facts. The tension comes from knowing that one wrong choice sends everyone back to the start.
Narrative Depth and Replay Value
The story unfolds gradually, with each loop revealing more about the school’s history and the relationships between characters. Environmental details, such as old photographs or locked drawers, add layers to the plot. Because information appears in fragments, multiple playthroughs are necessary to see the full picture. The ending may vary depending on how thoroughly players investigate and which characters they trust.
Visual and Audio Atmosphere
The school setting is rendered with muted colors and dim lighting, creating a sense of isolation and urgency. Background sounds like distant footsteps or ticking clocks reinforce the pressure of the repeating cycle. Character portraits show subtle expressions that hint at their current mood or honesty. The interface is clean, focusing attention on dialogue logs and clue inventory without distractions.
